Are we HOPE Carriers?

Our new Christian Clothing range is centred around the Christian message of HOPE.  As followers of Jesus, we are carriers of a very important quality.  We carry HOPE everywhere that we go. 
Now this hope is not just a form of optimism or wishing for a brighter day.  This HOPE is a fact, built on a solid foundation and centred around the creator of the world.
The holy spirit, God's spirit within us, gives us the mind of Christ.  The same spirit that Jesus has, now lives in us, once we have given our lives to Jesus.

When things look bleak or you have no hope we recommend that you focus back on the Lord.  Spend time in his presence by reading the bible, declaring his promises over our lives and quoting scripture to your state of mind. 

Sometimes things don't change in the natural, the same situations are there and the same feelings about those situations can be felt.  But getting into how God sees these situations will change our perspective, it will also mean that we can be at peace with what comes our way. 

God is with us which is the greatest feeling of hope that we can have.  Jesus died to that we may live a free life, we are completely free and can walk in that freedom.  We don't need to feel low about our lives as we have been bought with an ultimate price, the price of of God's son dying for us.

The lyrics are full of scripture and declare who Jesus is, our author and defender of the faith.  Verse 1 is below:

In Christ alone my hope is found,

When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!

Another important thing for Christians to realise is that we don't always want to be led by our feelings.  Yes God created them but we can't put them over how God sees us.  So even if you don't fee like you have HOPE or don't feel like there is anything to look forward to in the future we need to go back to our BIBLE and proclaim what God promises us.

I have highlighted some scriptures below that :

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Romans 5:1 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

There we have it, we are HOPE carriers in a desperate world, we are in the world but have God with us by his spirit so we can ask Him to lift our heads and raise our eyes to his perspective on life.  If you are struggling with HOPE and feel like you can't lift up your head, then we recommend getting friends to pray for you, meet up with friends who can lift you up and help you.  The Church community is the best place for this as one large family who are serving each other, loving each and encouraging each other to walk with each.
